The Wahoo Elemnt Roam was first launched in 2019 and borrowed many features from the original-generation Wahoo Elemnt Bolt, while improving readability, navigation and mapping.

Powerful Navigation
Pre-loaded with maps of North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and South America. Maps for Russia, Asia, and Africa that can be downloaded over WiFi. The ROAM delivers turn-by-turn prompts for all routes and file types; including GPX files, TCX files and routes imported from Strava, Ride With GPS and Komoot. What if your plans change? Take Me To allows you to create a route with turn-by-turn directions by simply selecting a location directly on the Elemnt Roam map page using it's pan and zoom or by selecting from one of your saved locations. In the ELEMNT Companion App, enter a destination, address, or point of interest and to generate a route with turn-by-turn directions and sync it to the ELEMNT ROAM via Bluetooth. There is also breadcrumb routing, saved location features, back on track rerouting, and route syncing by bluetooth.

Dual-band GPS
The second version of the ELEMNT ROAM uses dual-band GPS for more accurate navigation. This is especially useful in areas such as woods, where GPS reception can be limited. The technology enables GPS receivers to track more than one signal from satellites on different frequencies and consequently filter out any inaccurate signals bouncing off objects in the surrounding environment.

Colour Screen
The screen uses colour intuitively so not as to overload the user with a kaleidoscopic display, but instead using colour sparingly to highlight key information such as training zones. The screen on the Elemnt Roam is 2.7in / 6.8cm, compared to the Elemnt Bolt’s 2.2in / 5.6cm screen.

32GB Memory and Mapping
The ELEMNT ROAM has a 32GB memory, which is double the amount of memory available with the Elemnt Bolt V2. You can store more maps and routes without having to manage the files on the device.

Ultra Long Battery Life & Resistant Screen
The ROAM has a 17-hour battery life, allowing you to pedal all day with mapping without needing to charge. The screen automatically adjusts its brightness and LED lights as lighting conditions change both indoors and outdoors. ELEMNT ROAM uses watertight, dustproof USB-C charging, keeping charge times down and dirt, water and debris out, whilst The thin, lightweight, and damage resistant glass helps the device stand up to the toughest conditions.
